Hi! I'm Chris Arensdorf
I spent 8 years at Amazon as a senior engineer and interview "Bar Raiser", where I conducted over 250 interviews and played a key role in raising the hiring bar for AWS and Amazon Robotics. My deep experience constructing technical interview loops, evaluating talent, and mentoring interviewers has helped shape high-performing engineering teams across Amazon.
With 15+ years of experience building software at scale, from real-time robotics systems to launching new services on Amazon S3, I bring a rare combination of engineering excellence and hiring expertise. I now partner with companies that want to improve their technical interview process, make confident hiring decisions, and build stronger teams.
I hold a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Boston University and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). When I'm not helping teams hire technical talent, I enjoy traveling, cooking, baking, hiking, skiing, and tennis.
